Console usage

Login/Logout

To logout :

-          Click on your avatar icon in the top toolbar


-          Click on the right-most “exit” button :

 

-          Close your browser completely (not just the tab used for ProactivePack)

  

User preferences

-          Click on your avatar in the top toolbar, then click on the console preferences button :

 


 

-          Pick the desired language in the pop-up window :


 

The available in the following dialog are controlled by user permissions, so not all of them may be available to all users.

 

 

Personal logo – upload your own avatar or image file to customize the console

User name – the name as it appears in the top level toolbar

Email address – the default email address for email notifications

Preferred date format – the format for date and time display in the ProactivePack console.

                Available only if the "DateFormatAllowed" permission is set

Preferred Column set – the set of colons used for event details in the QuickQueries module.

ProactivePack theme – the user theme/skin

Active DDA Wizard – use or not the DDA Wizard for the Data Editor Module

Avalaible only if the DDAWizard “view" permission is set

 

Landing page

Any page of ProactivePack can be set as landing page, which will be presented at user logon.

From any page context menu, use the “Mark as Home” entry.


 

The landing page can be cleared from the “User Preferences” dialog.

 

Splash Page

The default “home page” to the product can be customized to show as a “carousel” :

-          High level information on the status of the application (see Global status script)

-          Overview of DDA count (if licensed)

-          Overview of Blackouts (if licensed)

-          Shortcuts into product pages (see below)

-          Content of product pages (see below)

 

Shortcuts into product pages

From any page of the product, you can add a shortcut to this page by accessing the page menu :


 

Adding product pages to the splash page carousel

Use the same menu as above :


 

Help pages

If help pages are configured by the ProactivePack administrator, they will show as follows (here in the Blackout module, but this is also available in the Data Editor) :


 

If a html file is available, then the question mark is blue and can be clicked to show the help content.
