Upgrading from earlier versions

There is no direct upgrade path, and a migration should be planned :

We assume that the current installation is under /path/ current_ppack, adjust procedure accordingly.

1. Create a folder /path/ppack2309
2. Unzip the new product zip file under /path/ppack2309
3. Copy /path/current_ppack/config/custom/*.conf to /path/ppack2309/config/custom/
4. Copy /path/ current_ppack/product.lic to /path/ ppack2309
5. Copy (recursively and merging folders) /path/ current_ppack /data to /path/ ppack2309/data
6. From /path/ current_ppack /security, recursively copy all files to /path/ ppack2309/security
7. Ensure file permissions & ownerships in /path/ppack2309 are set identically to /path/ current_ppack
8. Rename /path/current_ppack to /path/ppack.old and /path/ppack2309 to /path/ current_ppack
9. For cell(s) that use ProactivePack event classes, data classes, rules and remote actions, update the following files :
