Upgrading from earlier versions
ThereWhen there is no direct upgrade path, some manual steps are involvedinvolved. :
- We assume below that the current installation is under /path/
current_ppack,current_ppackadjust procedure accordingly. We assume the versionand you want to installisa version XXYY
Steps :
- Create a folder /path/ppackXXYY and unzip the new product file there.
- Copy the following files and folders from /path/current_ppack to /path/ppackXXYY

- Ensure file permissions & ownerships in /path/ppackXXYY are set identically to /path/
- Rename /path/current_ppack to /path/ppack.old and /path/ppackXXYY to /path/current_ppack
- Restart the http server
- For cell(s) that use ProactivePack event classes, data classes, rules and remote actions, update the following
files.files in the cell KB, recompile, restart the cells.
