Overview

The HelixMonityr-X Blackout module provides easy management of BMCevent Helixblackouts Operations(maintenance Managementwindows) blackoutin policies.Monityr-X.

The module includes a granular permission model, and provides a secure interface where operators can fill in blackout without making any mistake.

Internally, the blackout capability is implemented using :

A set of custom dictionaries that must be created in Monityr-X. These dictionaries can be created directly from the ProactivePack UI. A set of custom python rules that must be loaded in the Monityr-X MOMAPythonRules dictionary. A python library that implements the blackout rules and that must be imported in the Monityr-X Streamsets container
